How To Get Involved: Joining Ministries

Every Sunday, hundreds of volunteers make Tidewell feel like home — holding doors, teaching kids, pouring coffee, packing food boxes. Joining a ministry is the fastest way to turn a big church into a small family, and there is a team shaped exactly like your gifts.

Start by asking two questions: what do I love doing, and who do I love helping? If you love kids, the Children's Ministry needs you. If you love order, the welcome team will adopt you. If you love mercy, the Mission Ministry is waiting.

Where You Can Plug In

• Children's & Youth — teach, mentor, or simply show up weekly.
• Welcome & hospitality — greet, usher, or brew the coffee.
• Mission outreach — pack boxes, serve meals, visit seniors.
• Worship & tech — sing, play, run slides or sound.

Try a team for four weeks — no lifetime commitment. Most volunteers tell us the same thing: they came to help and stayed because they were helped.
